Area Info

Orange Beach is one of Baldwin County’s most popular coastal communities. Gulf Shores is just to the west and Perdido Key, Florida is to the east, which means that Orange Beach really is at the heart of the action. The past few years have brought tremendous growth in Orange Beach, both as a tourist destination and a residential area. Gulf-front condos and condos with boat slips in Orange Beach have always been popular choice for second homes, but now they are becoming more and more popular investment opportunities as the tourism industry continues to grow in the area. Orange Beach, as part of Baldwin County, is also an ideal choice when finding a place to live. Baldwin County is the fastest growing county in Alabama, with numerous improvements and projects being planned all over the area. The Ono Island community is, arguably, the most popular residential area in Orange Beach, but there are also a number of other waterfront subdivisions throughout the city.

Although Orange Beach is most popularly known for white-sand beaches and a vibrant nightlife, this area has something for everyone. Coastal Alabama and Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast is freckled with undeveloped beaches and national parks. Gulf State Park, which spreads over parts of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, is home to the second longest pier on the Gulf Coast, numerous walking trails, Lake Shelby, and some outdoor adventure zones. The Gulf of Mexico is widely known as one of the best fishing spots in the world. Orange Beach, with numerous waterways throughout the city, makes chartering a boat or storing your own quick and easy. Fishing in the Gulf of Mexico or Orange Beach’s Perdido Pass can be fun for the whole family and friendly locals are happy to point out some of the best spots, either onshore or offshore. If fishing isn’t your thing, but you’d still like to be out on the water, sailing around Bird and Robinson Islands is an appealing activity. Of course, a quick trip to Gulf Shores or Perdido Key can also be fun for the whole family.

The Admiral’s Quarters is one of Orange Beach’s more upscale destinations. Like Turquoise Place and Bella Luna, Admiral’s Quarters features a unique design and the amenity package keeps many visitors coming back year after year. The Admiral’s Quarters is a Gulf-front condominium and sits between The Palms and Four Seasons, just south of the Cotton Bayou.
